Topshop.

As you may know, the British High-street shop, Topshop has followed in the foot steps of many designers and are launching a make-up range in March much to my surprise and pleasure. The collection will consist of bright, on-trend make-up and unlike some of the clothes, appears to be suitably priced with products ranging from £4-£12. This seems ideal as you no longer have to make your way to the nearest cosmetics shop and instead can do all your shopping in one.

The secret launch-party has caused the media lots of excitement and was thought of as extraordinary by many top names in the beauty industry. The much anticipated collection has recently featured in many fashion and beauty magazine with Grazia dedictating a 5 page spread and stating, 'the coolest make up... ever.'

However, although other high street shops such as American Apparel, Aldo and Urban outfitters have produced a cosmetics range and the media has been very positive, I fear the stylish image of Topshop will not remain the same. Firstly there was a beach shop, a sweet collection came next and now make-up, with this ever expanding choice, will Topshop's image be ruined if they eventually lose interest of the clothes range? Or will it improve with a on-trend make-up collection?

Tell me your thoughts on the make up range.

omg, i love the sweet collection! i think the beach collection is really good too but tbh i think the makeup is so "cheap" cos they probs used rubbish quality things otherwise topshop wouldn't have that price! i do hope the makeup proves me wrong though.

i like the packaging, but it might be a mask of the actual quality of the makeup,
