First Week.

I have had another eventful since it is the first week of my summer holidays so this post will be a summary of the week almost.
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th
On these days we went sailing with family friends. After i sailed us safetly over to Cowes at 10.30 we went out for dinner. The next day we sailed to Lymington where we went out for lunch and to a playground. fun. We then sailed home.

Monday 26th I woke up at 6.15 am on the first day of holidays ready to leave my friend's house, where i'd slept over, by 7 am for Twickenham station. We caught a train to clapham junction then changed and headed to Victoria. As soon as you step out of the station you are met by a sparkling wicked sign casting a green glow over the Apollo Theatre. We then sat down on the steps of the theatre and waited till the box office opened at 10.30 to attempt to get front row seats for a mere 25 pounds. There were already around ten people waiting in the queue, however, after we joined rapidly more and more wicked fans came along till eventually there was about 50 to 60 people all wrapped up and shivering despite the fact it is summer. Luckily the early wake-up was worth it and we recieved seats on the front row and almost central. We went back home as it was stll 10.30 and the performance started at 7.30, where we watched tv trash like underage and pregnant. Oh, i love tv at times! We left the house again and made our 'trek' up to the theatre. Although i've seen wicked before, my excitement was worth it. It was truly amazing with a great cast (Lee Mead as Fiyero, Rachel Tucker as Elpheba and Louise Dearman as Glinda). I honestly think i could watch it every day and not grow bored.

Tuesday 27th
This day wasn't as thrilling although i did buy a nice pair of shoes for £25!
Wednesday 28th
This day consisted of a friend coming round and chatting so not too exciting.

Thursday 29th

I went up to London with my mother and sister to visit the infamous harrods which although i claim to never have been before, i have infact been quite a few times as a child. But my goodness, it was amazing! i have never seen such beautiful clothes, furniture, food and accessories all linked up in a maze of elaborate rooms together. Although i couldn't actually buy anything, the thrill of being able to touch some of my favourite pieces i'd seen being modelled down a catwalk just a few weeks before was amazing. However, i was deeply dissapointed at the reply when asking a lady working at Prada as to where Miu Miu was, a 'we only have accessories downstairs.'
After this visit we caught the tube to Oxford Street where we were going to Selfridges. It took a lot of will power and determination to walk past Topshop but once we were inside Selfridges it was worth it. Since we had been looking around high-end clothes for a while, we decided to head to the high-street section where we spent most of our time at Cos. My mum seemed to have bought a few things whilst Olivia and I shared a shirt.
