60s Shifts- Lesson 1.

Much to my excitement, we have started creating 1960s shifts in art in preparation for a Year9 catwalk in April. The project is based around screen printing in the form of bold patterns which will be displayed over our dresses. Although the dress is in a 1960s shape, our inspiration for the print is coming from Ballet Russes' designs which were created in the late 19th century-early 20th century. Here are some designs from the first lesson.

lol, we had to go to the ballet russe exhibition as well although i cbaed so just got info and pics online :P
